   To fund an art-therapy program for children who are blind or visually impaired.

   To purchase musical instruments to be used as a means of therapy for disabled children living in Montana.

♥ Clear Path International - Dorset, VT $ 2,000

   To pay for unanticipated administrative expenses related to a Ross Foundation grant made to Wheelchair Foundation in 2004 that benefited child landmine victims in Vietnam.

♥ Global Medical Relief Fund - Staten Island, NY $ 12,000

   To provide an emergency fund for an organization that brings war-wounded children to the United States for medical care and prosthetics.

♥ Healing Hands, Inc. - Grand Rapids, MI $ 31,440

   To pay medical staff salaries for a new rehabilitation facility benefiting handicapped orphaned children in Romania.

   To supply wheelchairs and related equipment, and to underwrite monthly trips to hospitals and rehabilitation centers for children living in northern Vietnam.

   To refurbish 50 wheelchairs for children living in Tlalnepantla, Mexico.

CURE Childhood Cancer Association - Rochester, NY  $ 965

   An emergency grant to partially pay for the replacement of an office phone system which was struck by lightning.

Direct Relief International - Santa Barbara, CA  $ 25,500

   To expand the Wardak Village Health Clinic by purchasing building materials, paying for labor, and paying transportation costs of medical equipment and supplies in Afghanistan.

Kagando Mission Hospital Foundation - Dorset, VT $ 5,730

   To pay for malaria control workshops, mosquito nets, medicines and medical supplies for a project in southwest Uganda.

Sisters of Mercy of the Americas - Buffalo, NY  $ 5,000

   To support a mobile medical clinic operating on the Island of Mindanao, Philippines.

   To purchase one used mini van for transporting students.

   To partially fund the annual Phil Chamberlain Memorial Art and Music Program.

   To construct a 5-room health clinic located in Tibet.

   To purchase buffaloes, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and grain seed to establish an income-generating project benefiting a boarding school in Andhra Pradesh, India.

   To support four different children’s projects in Nicaragua.

Himalayan Healthcare - New York, NY $ 5,600

   To pay the salaries and travel expenses of two midwives, as well as pay for supplies, medical instruments, and medicines to benefit pregnant women and babies living in rural Nepal.

Himalayan Youth Foundation - Winter Park, FL  $ 12,432

   To purchase 20 computers to be used by children living at the Kailash hostel in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Immaculate Heart Convent - Syracuse, NY  $ 9,819.70

   To purchase medical equipment and supplies for the Kapkoi Health Center, located in Eldoret, Kenya.

Mano a Mano Medical Resources - Mendota Heights, MN  $ 11,000

   To construct a two-classroom school in Khari Pocoata, Bolivia, South America.

Medicines for Humanity - Rockland, MA  $ 20,000

   To provide medicines for 5,000 children, train 72 community health promoters, and provide other services for a project in Carmen Pampa, Bolivia, South America.

Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation - Sausalito, CA  $ 32,400

   To purchase construction materials to build 18 classroom blocks for children living near Dang, Nepal.

One H.E.A.R.T. - Salt Lake City, UT  $ 13,846.50

   To purchase an ultrasound machine to be used in rural villages near Lhasa, Tibet.

Our Lady of Refuge Church - South India   (funded through The New York Province of the Society of Jesus - New York, NY)  $17,440

   To provide educational materials, workshops for teachers, library books, and irrigation equipment to benefit children living at Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos, an orphanage in Nicaragua.

Frontier Horizon - Virginia Beach, VA  $ 15,000

   To purchase medical equipment and furniture for a renovated health clinic located at Orphanage No. 4, in Odessa, Ukraine.

International Widows Association for Southern Sudanese Refugees in Uganda - Kampala, Uganda, East Africa  (funded through New York Province of the Society of Jesus - New York, NY)  $ 8,644

   To purchase food and clothing for the refugee children living at two orphanages in northern Uganda and southern Sudan.

The Oltalom - Hungary (funded through Free Methodist Church of North America - Indianapolis, IN)  $ 12,027

   To provide final payment for the purchase of a building that is used as The Oltalom’s Home for Unaccompanied Children in Hungary.
